SKIING & SNOWBOARDING

In the winter months, Villa La Angostura is transformed into a snowy paradise, and Cerro Bayo becomes a dream place for skiers and snowboarders

It is less than 10 km from our aparts and offers slopes with amazing views of the lake and the mountain range. Whether you are a seasoned pro or a beginner, Cerro Bayo caters for all skill levels.

It also offers other alternatives such as Snowpark and Snow Tubing, Canopy and Snowshoeing.

TREKKING

Villa La Angostura offers a variety of hiking trails to suit all levels of hikers and is a year-round staple. From relaxed forest walks to challenging mountain ascents, there's a hike for everyone. Explore marked trails independently or hire specialist guides for more challenging treks.

You can also embark on a kayaking or SUP (stand up paddle) adventure.

Glide over the crystal clear surface of the lakes, surrounded by mountains and nature. One of the most beautiful ways to get in touch with the water.

You can find several kayak rentals in the centre of town on Arrayanes Avenue. You can also find rentals on some of the local beaches.

LAKE TOURS & SAILING

Discover the Nahuel Huapi Lake in the best way, navigating its crystal clear waters with incredible views.


There are a great number of providers offering lake tours with different types of boats, from sailing or motor boats to catamarans leaving from the harbour, or more intimate tours in small boats. Tours depart regularly from Bahia Mansa, Bahia Brava and Bahia Manzano, taking you to various destinations, including the famous Arrayanes Forest and Victoria Island.


There is also the possibility of renting boats to explore the lake and the beaches of the area on your own.

SPORT FISHING

Sport fishing is one of the activities to be highlighted in Villa La Angostura and its surroundings.

This region is a true paradise for sport fishing enthusiasts. Whether you are an experienced angler or a first time angler, our local guides will take you to the best fishing spots, where you will be able to catch different species of trout.

There are different types of excursions depending on the time of year, experience, number of people and requirements of each person, they can be:

  • FLOATING IN LAKES

  • TROLLING

The most recommended spots are Bonito River, Ragintuco River, La Estacada River, Totoral River, Ruca Malen River (Seven Lakes Road), Correntoso River, Espejo Lake, Correntoso Lake and Nahuel Huapi Lake.
